0 <br /> All stockpiles deemed idle shall be covered with 10 rml plastic sheeting to prevent uncontrolled loss <br /> of VOC's to the air Based on site constraints and site sequencing,the segregated contaminated soil <br /> piles may remain onsite for days or weeks providing it is covered The poly covers shall be <br /> weighted or otherwise secured to prevent the cover from blowing off <br /> SOIL SAMPLING <br /> Treadwell&Rollo will take the lead for waste characterization for all soil Once all contaminated <br /> field soil has been field screened and characterized,Treadwell&Rollo will provide direction on the <br /> method and location for disposal <br /> SAMPLE ANALYSIS <br /> Soil samples retrieved by Treadwell&RolIo will be transferred to a State of California Department <br /> of Health Services certified laboratory for analysis A formal chain-of-custody form will <br /> accompany the shipment Analysis of the soil will be undertaken for the known contaminant <br /> constituents or as recommended or required by Treadwell&Rollo <br /> SOIL DISPOSAL <br /> Ultimate disposal of verified contaminated soil wiH occur after Treadwell & Rollo has properly <br /> characterized the soil <br /> GROUNDWATER CONTAINMENT <br /> Groundwater extracted from caissons in the potentially contaminated area will be placed into <br /> temporary tanks onsite pending analytical characterization The water will be either released into the <br /> sanitary sewer in conformance with the conditions of a permit from the City of Stockton Municipal <br /> Utility Department or transported offsite to an appropriate wastewater recycler <br /> GROUNDWATER TESTING <br /> Treadwell&Rollo will take the lead role in the stored caisson groundwater characterization <br /> GROUNDWATER DISPOSAL <br /> Treadwell &Rollo will make the final decision as to the method and location of the caisson <br /> groundwater disposal <br /> Health and Safety Plan for F&H Construction <br /> 130 North Hunter St, Stockton, CA <br />
