Kennedy/Jenks Consultants
Data collected from the supply well are summarized in Table 4 Water quality samples have
L, been collected at both the wellhead and at various locations within the distribution system.
Based on the data collected, the average TDS of the supply water is approximately
230 milligrams per liter(mg/1).
2.5 Surrounding Land Uses
, Neighboring properties were reviewed previously by conducting a survey of aerial photographs
and conducting a drive-by visual inspection during site visits to the facility. Local land use
consists of vineyards, agricultural operations, and confined animal facilities.
L Topography of the surrounding area is generally level. Irrigation ditches along the southern
edge of the facility transport Woodbridge Irrigation District water to local farmers. The onsite
irrigation ditches are not connected to nearby surface water. Regional surface drainage is to the
b" Mokelumne River and the facility is located within the Lower Mokelumne Hydrologic Area
(No. 531.20). The beneficial uses of the Mokelumne River include agricultural irrigation and
` stock watering, contact recreation, canoeing and rafting recreation, other non-contact
recreation, warm and cold freshwater habitat, warm and cold water migration, warm and cold
water spawning, and wildlife habitat. However, berms located around the perimeter of the facility
prevent onsite surface drainage from reaching nearby surface water bodies. .
2.6 2013 Reconnaissance Sampling
6. In January 2013, as part of the due diligence-process associated-with-acquisition-of the_Patane__
property to the west of its existing property, Sutter Home authorized the collection of soil and
reconnaissance groundwater samples. The sampling locations are shown on Figure 5.
►, Analytical results for soil samples are presented in Table 5, and analytical results for
reconnaissance groundwater samples are presented in Table 6.
'r
s
L
Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan Page 7
4.
