The grout will then be pumped into each well casing up to a <br /> pressure of 1000 psi. After pressure grouting is completed, the top of each well will <br /> r ; <br /> be dug out to a depth of 3 to 5 feet below rade, at which point the exposed well <br /> . casing will be removed and a concrete cap will be placed over each well casing. The <br /> remaining portion of the hole will be backfi. led with native soil. <br /> 4. Monitoring well MW-6 will be destroyed I y over-drilling the well using a truck- <br /> mounted drill rig. The total depth of the well will be over-drilled (70 feet below <br /> grade). The well was constructed using 8-inch outside diameter (OD) hollow stem <br /> F auger. Over-drilling of the well will use $- rich OD or larger auger. Construction <br /> of the well will be completed by filling a former monitoring well boring by <br /> Fl�� tremmie with neat cement. The neat cement will be mixed at a ratio of one 94-pound <br /> bag of cement to 6 gallons of water. <br /> 5. Resulting cuttings and monitoring well debri5 will be drummed and will be disposed <br /> by Boston Market within 90 days of genera ion. <br /> { 6. All of Krazan & Associates, Inc.'s field work will be conducted by individuals <br /> meeting the Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements of <br /> hazardous waste work including 40-hour health and safety training and medical <br /> monitoring. The work will be completed u der standards set forth by industry and <br /> r deemed acceptable by various regulatory agencies. Hard hats, protective eye wear, <br /> t ' steel-toe boots, protective clothing, and re piratory devices will be worn by field <br /> �--, personnel when deemed appropriate by the f eld engineer or geologist present. For <br /> additional health and safety information, please refer to the Health and Safety Plan <br /> in Appendix B. <br /> Fol <br /> 7. Upon completion of the field and laboratory h ivestigation, a detailed report would be <br /> completed presenting the findings of our in estigadon. <br /> Currently, we plan to begin the field portion for the investigation on September 19, 1995 at 8:00 Am <br /> following the approval by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
