3.5 Historical Site Photographs <br /> Ground level photographs were not available from Caltrans. <br /> 3.6 U.S.Geological Survey(USGS) Topographic Nlap <br /> A USGS topographic map dated 1954 (photorevised 198 ) for the Tracy, California, Quadrangle was <br /> reviewed to obtain information relative to the topography previous development, and uses of the Site <br /> and properties located in the site vicinity. Information obtained from the review of the USGS <br /> topographic map is presented hereinafter. <br /> Site Topography. A review of the USGS .trap indicates that the Site is relatively flat at an <br /> elevation of approximately 12 m(40 feet) above Mean Sea Level. <br /> Site Development. A review of the USGS map indicates that the office, equipment building <br /> and warehouse were constructed at the Site between 1954 and 1981. Street improvements constructed <br /> prior to 1952 include Corral Hollow Road, Fabian Road and Byron Road. Railroad tracks were noted <br /> approximately 0.4 km(0.25 mile)north of the Site. Krohn oad, a portion of Byron Road and Business <br /> 205 (currently I Ph Street) were constructed between 1954 nd 1981. Two structures adjacent and south <br /> of the Site'were constructed between 1954 and 1981. Orel ards were noted northeast of Corral Hollow <br /> Road and Fabian Road. A copy of the USGS topographic map is presented on Figure 8. <br /> 3.7 Title Report and Right-of-Way Plans <br /> Information obtained from the San Joaquin County Recorder's Office indicates that the State of <br /> California purchased the Site from Johannes Krohn in 1952. The Site had not been developed prior to <br /> the development of the maintenance station. Copies of the grant deeds and the Caltrans right-of-way- <br /> map are presented in Appendix A. j <br /> i <br /> 3.8 Flood Control & Oil Survey Maps <br /> I <br /> A review of the 1993 Munger Map Book indicates that an uncompleted abandoned oil well is located <br /> approximately 1.1 km(0.7 mile) west of the Site. Information obtained from the City of Tracy Public <br /> Works indicates that the Site is located within Flood Zoe C. This flood zone experiences minimal <br /> flooding and is located in the 500-year flood plain.
