One 55-gallon empty poly-drum that had held corrosive liquid outiside of the used oil storage trailer <br /> was not closed. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be <br /> marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately <br /> mark and manage all empty containers per this section and submit documentation or evidence of <br /> correction to EHD by 12/11/2011. <br /> 605 & 701. Two 55-gallon drums of used oil (see #404 above) had no hazardous waste label; generator <br /> stated the used oil had been disposed by their hazardous waste hauler recently, but was unable to <br /> provide documentation during this inspection. Hazardous waste shall be managed within 180 days, and <br /> all hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. These containers are considered to have been on site longer than 180 days due to lack of <br /> label or documentation. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste <br /> under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 12/11/2011. <br /> 812. Copies of Universal Waste disposal records were not available for inspection on site (see #122 & <br /> 125 above). A copy of the disposal receipts of Universal Waste, including but not limited to lamps, <br /> alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, aerosol cans, and electronic devices, shall be <br /> retained on site available for inspection.
