Introduction Before You Begin <br /> 1. Call Customer Service at(800)873-3313 to obtain an RGA number. <br /> 2. Clearly print the RGA number on the packages being returned. No package can be <br /> received without this number. <br /> 3. All shipments of Veeder-Root products must be prepaid. <br /> 4. If the WPLLD system is damaged,return it in the original shipping container with <br /> shock absorbing material provided. Veeder-Root will accept no liability for <br /> damage caused by improper packing. <br /> 5. Address the shipment to Veeder-Root Co.,6th Avenue at Burns Crossing,Altoona, <br /> Pennsylvania 16602. <br /> 6. All warranty returns must also include a legible WSR(warranty service report). <br /> Problem description and convective action must be filled out in detail. <br /> Before You Begin <br /> 1. Be sure the Veeder-Root TLS-350 or TLS-350R System has PLLD Interface and <br /> PLLD Controller Modules installed. In addition,a software option module(or key) <br /> must be installed on the console.If these modules are not installed,the TLS sys- <br /> tem will not be able to accept inputs from the PLLD system. <br /> If you need to install these modules,refer to Veeder-Root manuals 576013-498 <br /> and 576013499.Also make sure that your TLS-350 or TLS-350R console has ad- <br /> ditional locations to accommodate these modules. (If sufficient locations are not <br /> available,you will need an expansion board.) <br /> 2. PLLD can be installed for systems containing fiberglass,Enviroflex piping,or <br /> steel piping.For Enviroflex piping or steel piping,Version 9 or later firmware is <br /> required in an TLS-350 system; Version 109 or later firmware is required in an <br /> TLS-350R system. <br /> 3. If you are installing the PLLD in a manifolded tank setup,you will need either of <br /> the following: <br /> a. Non-vented Check Valves(Part No.0330020-063),additional Pump Port <br /> Strainers(Part No.329861-001)and Four-Relay Modules(329359-001)or <br /> Combination Input/Output Modules(329360-001)with quantities depending <br /> upon the number of tanks being manifolded. <br /> b. Mechanical leak detectors or strainer screens with quantities depending upon <br /> the number of tanks being manifolded. <br /> See"Manifolded Product Line PLLD Installation"on page 23 for more informa- <br /> tion. <br /> 4. If you will be performing precision line leak testing,be sure you have purchased <br /> one of the following: <br /> ❑ Precision Check Valve for your FE Petro pump[Figure 1 and Figure 2 on <br /> page 5] <br /> ❑ In-line check valve or SwiftCheckTM Valve for your Red Jacket or Tokheim <br /> PUMP <br /> 576013-902,Revision G 3 <br />
