• Smoking will be prohibited within 100 feet of the site. Smoking will be limited to <br /> designated smoking areas determined by the SSHO; <br /> • Immediate access to an ABC fire extinguisher will be provided; <br /> • All site vehicles with heavy equipment will be equipped with ABC-rated fire <br /> extinguishers; and <br /> • All field personnel will be instructed in the proper use and location of fire extinguishers; <br /> 7.4 Spill Containment Program <br /> If a spill/leak of decon water or fuel lines occur, the field team members will do the following: <br /> • Obtain appropriate sorbent materials and a container in which to collect spilled <br /> material. These materials will be stored at the site at all times and <br /> • Pump or scoop up the spilled material and any additional contaminated surface debris <br /> and soil and place it in a suitable container or area. <br /> In the event that the spill is too large to be handled safely by the field team, the area around the <br /> spill will be secured and the Navy Base will be immediately notified, followed by contact with <br /> the PHSM and the PM who would then contact the USACE PM. <br /> 8.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br /> The purpose of the emergency response plan is to ensure decisive action in the event of a site <br /> emergency.
