Environmental Protection Agency <br /> (EPA ) Method 8260 . The criteria for sending soil samples to the laboratory will be readings <br /> of 50 parts per million ( ppm) or greater with the PID . <br /> • Submit one composite surface soil sample for analysis of pesticides by EPA Method <br /> 625 / 8270 . <br /> • Report the findings of Delta' s investigation , including copies of soil boring logs and <br /> laboratory reports . <br /> 2 . 0 BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> 2 . 1 Site Settine <br /> The subject property is located at the intersection of Interstate 205 and Grant Line Road in Tracy , <br /> San Joaquin County , California (T . 2S . , R . 5E . , MDB &M) (Figure 1 ) . Records from the San Joaquin <br /> County Assessor' s Office show that this is Parcel No . 211 - 510 - 19 and the land is currently owned <br /> by Tracy Orchard , Inc . <br /> The site lies in a semirural area and is bounded to the northwest by Interstate 205 , to the east by <br /> farmland , and to the south by commercial businesses across Grant Line Road , including two <br /> restaurants and a gasoline station . <br /> 2 . 2 Utilities <br /> Underground utilities near the site include two sanitary sewer lines and a water line , all running east <br /> of Interstate 205 along Grant Line Road . According to the City of Tracy , Public Works Department <br /> the smaller ( 4 - inch) sewer line is thought to be abandoned . Other utilities in the area include Pacific <br /> Bell telephone service , Pacific Gas and Electric Company , and UA Cable Company . All utility <br /> companies in the area will be notified and locations of underground utilities will be verified prior <br /> to commencement of drilling activities at the site . <br /> 3 . 0 PROPOSED SOIL BORINGS <br /> 3 . 1 Soil Borine Locations <br /> Six soil borings are proposed at the site to evaluate soil conditions .
