Lines that are not in service or are in standby for a long period of time are capped to <br /> prevent them from leaking. Piping detail is shown on Figure 3. <br /> PIPING INSPECTIONS (40 CFR 112.8(d)(4)) <br /> All aboveground piping is routinely inspected at the facility durintces <br /> onthly tank inspections. <br /> During each inspection the condition of valves,piping, and app is assessed. <br /> BRITTLE FRACTURE EVALUATION (40 CFR 112.7 <br /> The ASTs present at the site were not field constructe erefore,no brittle fracture evaluation is <br /> required. <br /> CONFORMANCE WITH STATE AND LOCI EQUIREMENTS (40 CFR <br /> 112.70)) <br /> All bulk storage tanks at this facility are registered with the state and local authorities and have current <br /> certificates of registration and special use permits required by the local fire code. <br /> OIL-FILLED OPERATIONAL EQUIPMENT (40 CFR 112.7(k)) <br /> No oil-filled operational a ment is present at the facility. <br /> ROUTINE HANDLING OF PRODWCTS (40 CFR 112.7(a)(3)(ii)) <br /> I <br /> Routine handling and transfer of petroleum products at this facility include: <br /> i <br /> • Transfer of oil products between the ASTs and tanker trucks in the transfer areas; <br /> • Transfer of oil products to and from drums ; <br /> • Movement of totes and drum containers at the facility; and j <br /> • Transfer of oil products by customer from the ASTs to customer's vehicles in the dispensing <br /> area <br /> With the exception of transferring fuel into customer's vehicles, routine handling of products is only <br /> performed by employees that have been trained to handle and transfer oil products. During <br /> loading/unloading of vehicles,the driver is required to stay with the truck at all times.
