SPCC PLAN AMENDMENTS (40 CFR 112.5(a)) <br /> Technical Amendments <br /> In the event of any change to the Facility design, construction, operation, or maintenance that materially <br /> affects its potential for a discharge as described in §112.1(b)this SPCC plan must be amended. In the <br /> event that an amendment is necessary, it must be made within six months of the change requiring the <br /> amendment. Changes which require a plan amendment include, but are not limited to: <br /> • Commissioning or decommissioning oil storage containers <br /> • Replacing, reconstructing, or moving a container <br /> • Replacing, reconstructing, replacement, or installation of piping systems <br /> • Construction, demolition, or modification of secondary containment structures <br /> • Changes in type of oil stored in containers <br /> Amendments to this plan that are made to address one or more of the above changes are <br /> considered technical changes and must be certified by a registered Professional Engineer in <br /> accordance with 40 CFR 112.3(d). <br /> Non-Technical Amendments <br /> Non-technical amendments may be made to the Plan without the certification of a Professional <br /> Engineer. Non-technical amendments include the following: <br /> • Change in name or contact information for the individuals listed in the plan <br /> • Change in name or contact information for spill response or clean up contractors <br /> Any amendment, technical or non-technical, to this SPCC Plan must be recorded in Table B as described <br /> in the following section. <br /> SPCC PLAN REVIEW (40 CFR 112.5(b)) <br /> The owner or operators must complete a review and evaluation of the SPCC plan at least once every five <br /> years. If revisions to this SPCC plan are determined to be necessary during the five-year review, they <br /> should be made within six months of the review. If a technical amendment of the plan is required, a <br /> registered Professional Engineer shall certify the plan amendments in accordance with 40 CFR <br /> 112.3(d). Evidence of these reviews shall be recorded in this plan below, even if no amendment is <br /> necessary, at a minimum of every five years.
