k`1 KLEINFELDER
Task E04 - Report Preparation
Upon completion of the soil sampling and our receipt and review of the analytical results, a
separate report will be prepared for client review. The report will include:
• A description of field activities, observations, and protocols
• Tabularized results of soil sample analysis (if applicable) with copies of certified
analytical laboratory results with chain-of-custody documentation
• Conclusions and recommendations
ASSUMPTION AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
• If weather, access, or site conditions restrict our field operations, we may need to revise
our fees. We would contact you for authorization, however, before proceeding with any
additional service.
• This proposal will be adequate to obtain authorization from the PHS/EHD. If a more
comprehensive workplan is necessary, additional charges for workplan preparation will be
incurred.
• Adequate work space and access will be provided. Kleinfelder will attempt to advance the
soil borings at the proposed locations. If the drilling equipment cannot be positioned,
alternative drilling locations or sampling methods should be investigated. The borings are
to be drilled with a hand auger. If alternative drilling methods or concrete cutting are
required, additional costs may be incurred.
• No respiratory protection or shoring will be necessary.
• Soil and water generated during the drilling and sampling will be the responsibility of the
client, and disposal costs have not been included in our estimate. Soil cuttings will be
placed on plastic and covered adjacent to the chosen boring locations. Water generated
from equipment decontamination rinseate will not be contained. Disposal or remediation
options for the soil can be assessed once analytical results have been received, at an
additional charge. Kleinfelder can assist the client with the disposal of soil and water if
necessary, at an additional charge.
20-YP7-199/2017P 15 1/2017C324 Page 3 of 6
1997 Kleinfelder, Inc.
