APP <br /> Well Installation and Sampling at California National Guard Field Maintenance Shop <br /> Stockton, California <br /> • Document and investigate all "near miss"incidents to determine root causes and <br /> refine work practices; <br /> • Investigate all accidents to prevent a recurrence, and file a written accident report <br /> on all OSHA recordable injuries or illnesses, <br /> • Provide training and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment <br /> (PPE) and safeguards where required to promote employee health and safety; <br /> • Provide adequate First Aid or medical facilities for treatment of job-related <br /> injuries or illness;and <br /> • Insist on a high standard of housekeeping at all sites at all times. <br /> 3.2 WRITTEN SAFETY PROGRAM GOALS FOR THIS CONTRACT <br /> The OTIE safety goals for this contract include the following: <br /> • Deliver a safe project with Zero accidents, injuries, and incidents <br /> • Provide full compliance with EM 385-1-1 and all applicable safety regulations and site- <br /> specific safety documents <br /> • Provide effective and timely corrective action taken on any safety deficiencies <br /> • Ensure timely amendments are completed and properly reviewed and signed off on for <br /> any significant changes to the site conditions/safety documents <br /> • Provide timely safety communication messages to all project staff members via e-mail <br /> and/or hard copy delivery. <br /> • Conduct daily tailgate safety meetings and weekly safety meetings. Document meetings <br /> and attendance. <br /> OTIE 6 <br />
