Box 173400 <br /> Denver, CO 80217-3400 <br /> LEPRINO FOODS GROUND WATER INVESTIGATION, 2401 MACARTHUR DRIVE, TRACY, SAN <br /> JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> We have not received a response to our 29 January 1993 letter requesting a <br /> description of the proposed interim remediation system and a schedule for <br /> ground water sampling at the Leprino Foods facility at 2401 Mac Arthur Drive <br /> in Tracy. Your response is two months overdue. <br /> To reiterate our previous request, you were to submit a full description of <br /> the proposed interim remediation system, including extraction rates, treatment <br /> and disposal methods, and a schedule for system startup. A schedule for <br /> sampling EW-1 and MW-1 during the following six months also was to be includ- <br /> ed. <br /> As stated in the 29 January 1993 letter, quarterly ground water sampling <br /> events should be conducted at the same time as Mobil 's monitoring. If it is <br /> not possible to coordinate with Mobil , an additional monitoring well will have <br /> to be installed on the Leprino facility to determine ground water flow direc- <br /> tions. <br /> By 21 May 1993, you are required to submit a technical report containing the <br /> information described in this letter, a ground water monitoring schedule for <br /> the rest of the year, and an update on the status of the investigation and <br /> remediation at Leprino Foods. <br /> If you have any questions, please call Polly Lowry at (916) 255-3048. <br /> W L 44�v <br /> WE DY L.
