ORDINANCE NO 1275 <br /> PAGE NO 13 <br /> (6) Singly, or in combination with waste present in the water pollution .� <br /> control system, exit the Manteca water pollution control system into waters <br /> of the United States and cause Manteca to violate any requirement of its <br /> NPDES permit or any other state, federal, or local permits or laws, <br /> including magnitude of the violation <br /> (d) Other Prohibitions No person shall discharge any pollutant(s), waste, <br /> industrial or domestic, to the water pollution control system, except through sewer <br /> connections approved by Manteca and the relevant member jurisdiction or at <br /> approved discharge locations at the Manteca treatments works Discharge at any <br /> other location, including collection system manholes, is prohibited without prior <br /> written approval from the Director of Public Works <br /> (1) Storm Drainage and Groundwater Prohibition <br /> Storm water, groundwater, street drainage, subsurface drainage, or yard <br /> drainage shall not be discharged, either directly or indirectly, to the water <br /> pollution control system If such discharge is necessary, the City of <br /> Manteca Director of Public Works may approve an application for <br /> temporary discharge of such substances in the event no alternate method <br /> of disposal is reasonably available Application for discharge of storm <br /> water, groundwater, street drainage, subsurface drainage, or yard <br /> drainage shall be made to the Director of Public Works in writing and must <br /> be approved by the Director of Public Works prior to discharge to the <br /> water pollution control system Such discharges shall be subject to all <br /> applicable requirements of this Waste Ordinance and any applicable fees <br /> of the City of Manteca <br /> (2) Unpolluted Water Prohibition <br /> Unpolluted water, such as single-pass cooling water, boiler blow-down <br /> water, and swimming pool water, shall not be discharged, either directly or <br /> indirectly, to the water pollution control system If such discharge is <br /> necessary, the City of Manteca Director of Public Works may approve an <br /> application for temporary discharge of such substances in the event no <br /> alternate method of disposal is reasonably available Application for <br /> discharge of unpolluted water shall be made to the Director of Public <br /> Works in writing and must be approved by the Director of Public Works <br /> prior to discharge to the water pollution control system Such discharges <br /> shall be subject to all applicable requirements of this Waste Ordinance <br /> and any applicable fees of the City of Manteca <br /> (3) Additional Prohibitions <br /> Except as hereinafter provided, no person shall discharge, or cause to be <br /> discharged, to the water pollution control system any of the following - • - <br /> described waters, pollutants or wastes <br />
