_ I
2969 Loomis Road
• Relocation of three of the CPT borings, CPT-2, CPT-3, and CPT-8, from their: _
presently proposed locations on the order of twenty -feet further away from the
suspected source area. During the quarterly i,groundwater monitoring event in
December 2004, diesel concentrations were detected in MW-3 and MW-8. EHD
believes relocating the borings further away from the source area will provide better
delineation of the lateral margins of the contamination plume.
Please respond to EHD's recommendations presented in this letter by April 29, 2005, and
provide the technical justification for each proposed boring location. If you have any
questions, please contact Vicki McCartney :at (209) 468-3456 or by electronic mail at
vmccartncy@sj cehd.com.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Victoria L.
