The proposed schedule for the verification monitoring will begin after startup of <br /> the remediation system and is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 1995 and <br /> continue for one year: <br /> TASK 6 QUARTERLY MONITORING/IMPLEMENT <br /> REMEDIATION ACTIVITIES <br /> TASK 6A: QUARTERLY MONITORING TO MEET LOCAL, STATE, AND <br /> FEDERAL REGULATIONS - BRENTWOOD <br /> In accordance with County, State, and Federal guidelines, the CONSULTANT. will <br /> conduct quarterly monitoring and prepare quarterly monitoring reports for the Brentwood <br /> site. Quarterly monitoring will begin the first quarter of 1994, and will continue for <br /> three quarters. The number of groundwater samples, and'the analytes to be monitored <br /> will be outlined in the work plan discussed under Task 2A, and will be consistent with <br /> the requirements of the regulatory agencies. The quarterly monitoring reports will <br /> include laboratory data, boring logs, sampling location maps, groundwater gradient maps, <br /> and isoconcentration maps for the identified constituents of concern. .The reports shall <br /> be submitted to the DISTRICT for review. Following incorporation of DISTRICT <br /> comments, the reports shall be resubmitted to the DISTRICT for submittal to the <br /> guidance agency. <br /> Handling, characterization, and disposal of the IDW generated during quarterly <br /> monitoring will be accomplished in accordance with procedures outlined under Task 3. <br /> .It is assumed that the generated waste will be disposed of as non-hazardous waste. <br /> TASK 6B: QUARTERLY MONITORING TO MEET LOCAL, STATE, AND <br /> FEDERAL REGULATIONS - BIXLER YARD <br /> In accordance with County, State, and Federal guidelines, the CONSULTANT will <br /> conduct quarterly monitoring and prepare quarterly monitoring reports for the Bixler <br /> Yard.
