•
location. Details of that work have not been reviewed.
During investigative vork conducted in 9991 at Husky Crane,
contamination was noted on the wall of the abuttin❑
BJJ Co. Surface drainage as shown on rhe USES topographic sheet ,
(Plate II, ) is generally west/southwest , from BJJ towards
Hus1-y Crane. Based on limited data, the groundwater gradient
is towards the east , away from Husky Crane.
Although contamination was encountered during investigative work
at Husky Crane at 6 bgl immediately adjacent to the BJJ Co.
Property, the source of that contamination has not yet been
determined. Until more information nas oeen obtained , our client
doe, not wish to conduct in.•estigati%,e work offsite at this tiT:e.
Therefore, the following workplan is restricted to the Husky
Crane property only.
WORKPLAN FOR SOIL INVESTIGATION
NOTE: Bids are being received , and as soon as a drilling
contractor has been selected , an application for a drilling
permit, together with the appropriate fee, will be submitted to
the County EHD.
I . Soil samples will be taken at appro,imately 1 , and at 5
intervals from 5 ' bgl to deepest penetration. Sampling
procedures will be conducted according to Tri-Regional and LUFF
manual protocol under the direction of a Registered Geologist.
Continuous soil sampling utilizing latch-type wireline equipment
may be used instead of the conventional solid stem auger method
if field conditions warrant.
4. Soil samples will be promptly sealed , labeled, and preserved
on ice pending transport to FGL laboratory under proper chain of
custody.
5. Soil samples will be tested for BTEK (EPA B020, ) TPH-G &
TPH-D, (EPA 8015M, ) and total oil & grease (EFA 418. 1 . ) using
detection limits as specified by San Joaquin Co.
