Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Project#:99-1261 <br /> Proposed AutoZone Site.Manteca,California <br /> February 19, 1999 <br /> Pape 10 <br /> f <br /> There were no indications in the databases reviewed that indicated an <br /> unauthorized release originated from this site. <br /> This site is located approximately five-hundred(500) feet northwest <br /> of the subject site. <br /> Of the nine (9) sites listed in the environmental databases within an eighth mile <br /> radius of the subject site, five (5) sites reported unauthorized releases. Of the five (5) <br /> sites listed with a release, four (4) cases have not been closed by the regulatory <br /> i agencies. The one(1) site not closed is the Diamond Lumber Company site located <br /> on the adjacent property to the south of the subject site. However, site specific <br /> documentation reviewed indicated chat the unauthorized release on the Diamond <br /> Lumber Company site has not adversely impacted the groundwater beneath the <br /> subject site. <br /> Historical Use/Aerial Photograph Review <br /> The San Joaquin County Survey Department were contacted for aerial photographs, <br /> for the subject site. The San Joaquin County Survey DI-partrnent maintains a range <br /> of photographs dating from 1937 to the present. The sets of aerial photographs <br /> reviewed are described as follows: <br /> Photograph # 116 R, Dated January 1983 <br /> Two (2) large structures are located on the western half of the subiect <br /> site and eastern portion of the site appears to be fenced. A large <br /> building is also present on the property to the south, the current <br /> structure, and two large rectangular structures are present on the <br /> northern property. <br /> i <br /> Photograph #K-9, Dated November 8, 197 <br /> The subject site appears as it did in the 1983 photograph. <br /> Photograph #ABD-2CC-174, June 3, 1963 <br /> The subject site appears as it did in the 1975 photograph. <br /> Photograph #ABD-4K-11, Dated August 14, 1952 <br /> A single moderately sized structure is located on the eastern half of <br /> the subject site, the western half appears vacant. One (1) large <br /> structure, the current structure, is present on the adjacent site to the <br /> south as is a large rectangular building covering the southern property <br /> line. <br />
