Proposed Contr*ctor/Consultant <br />G. <br />Draft Hazardous Waste Facility Pennit <br />All work performed pursuant to this part of the permit shall be under the direction <br />and supervision of a California registered professional engineer hydrologist, or <br />geologist with expertise in hazardous waste site cleanup. The Permittee's <br />contractor or consultant shall have the technical expertise sufficient to adequately <br />perform 01 aspects of the work for which they are responsible. <br />4. Additional Work <br />The Department may determine or the Permittee may propose that certain tasks, <br />including nvestigatory work, remedial action, engineering evaluation, or <br />procedure methodology modification are necessary in addition to, or in lieu of, the <br />tasks and deliverables included in any workplan approved by the Department. The <br />Department shall request in writing that the Permittee perform the additional work <br />and shall specify the basis and reasons for the Department's determination that the <br />additional work is necessary. Within 14 days after the receipt of such <br />determination, the Permittee shall have the opportunity to meet or confer with the <br />Departme it to discuss the additional work the Department has requested. If <br />required by the Department, the Permittee shall submit a workplan to the <br />Departme it for additional work. Such workplan shall be submitted to the <br />Departmeit according to a schedule established by the Department. Upon approval <br />of a work]an, the Permittee shall implement it in accordance with the provisions <br />and sched le contained therein. <br />1. Sampling <br />a. The Permittee shall notify the Department in writing at least 14 days prior to <br />begi ning each separate phase of field work approved under any workplan <br />req ired by this part of the permit. If the Permittee believes it must <br />commence emergency field activities without delay, the Permittee may seek <br />emergency telephone authorization from the Department project coordinator <br />ori the project coordinator is unavailable, his/her immediate supervisor, to <br />commence such activities immediately. At the request of the Department, the <br />Perinittee shall provide or allow the Department or its authorized <br />repsentative to take split or duplicate samples of all samples collected by the <br />Per ittee pursuant to this part of the permit. <br />The Permittee shall submit to the Department upon request the results of all <br />sampling and/or tests or other data generated by it's employees, divisions, <br />agents, consultants or contractors pursuant to this permit. <br />23 <br />
