The dairy operation is visible along the eastern portion of the property. The on-site high-voltage towers are visible across the northwest portion of the property. Adjacent land areas to the north, east, south and west consists of agricultural lands. A pond is now visible on the northeast comer of the subject property. The majority of the property,west of the dairy operation,remains as irrigated pastureland in the 1975 photos. The remaining portion of the property,west of the dairy operation,remains as irrigated pastureland. Adjacent land areas remain as agricultural land in the 1999 photos. Hydroeeolo¢ic and Soils Settines Groundwater The subject property is located within the Sacramento River Hydrologic Basin as defined by the California Department of Water Resources(DWR). Groundwater elevations for the subject property were estimated using depth-to-groundwater measurements published for State Well Number 2S/4E-16L1, located approximately 500 feet northwest of the property. Plate 2 shows the approximate State Well location and the measured groundwater elevations are summarized in the Hydrograph on Plate 4. Measured groundwater elevations published for the well have fluctuated from a high of+94 feet MSL during the fall of 1964 to a low of+80 feet MSL during the spring of 1989.
