The current contact list, in Section 6, will be continually
updated by Lika in response to new requests for information.
2. To educate the community about the potential health risks
associated with exposure to hazardous materials found as contaminants at
the site.
Because most of the community is not knowledgeable about the potential
health risks of hazardous substances found at the site, Lika and DHS will
include information about risks in fact sheets and presentations at public
meetings. When information is presented to the public about concentrations
of contaminants in soil or groundwater at the site, comparative information
about concentrations in other places will be provided, as well as standards
for safe levels, to the extent that they are available.
