Lika placed a public notice in the Stockton Record on September 2 that announced the availability of the draft RAP for public review, provided the dates of a 42-day public comment period, and announced the time and location of a public meeting to be held for discussion of the draft RAP. Lika has also mailed copies of the notice to the contiguous property owners and others on the mailing list, and has posted copies of the notice east and west of the 2041 Navy Drive property along the road. Lika assisted DHS in conducting a public meeting about the draft RAP, and in compiling comments received from the public throughout the comment period. At DHS' s direction, Lika revised the draft RAP in response to public comments as appropriate. Lika will place a final RAP and a responsiveness summary in the information repositories. Lika will mail copies of the responsiveness summary to individuals who submitted comments. DHS Project Manager Lee Taubeneck is the designated staff contact for the 2041 Navy Drive site. WCC community relations coordinator Polly Quick serves as Lika' s contact for information about the site. Both will be identified by name, telephone number, and address in all public-oriented project documents, including Section 5 of this Plan. 4.
