I figure it this way. NORTH of Grantline can be permit ONE; 17 wells total. the permit is $375
+ 17 x $125, or $2500.
then there's the 19 wells SOUTH of Grantline. same math, and permit two is $2750.
both permit fees equal $5250.
You have submitted four checks totalling $5875. You're $625 over now if I was to issue only
two permits. That's 5 hours of my inspector's time as a credit. Keep the two parcels NORTH of
Grantline seaparate and I issue separate permits. it only add's $375 to the $5875 total. This
would leave you a credit of $250 now, or only two hours of my inspection time.
how much time (days for me to be there) did you allot for actual pressure grouting 36 wells?
five a day? six? a half hour of my travel time to and back each day and if I max out my time
there/all day and charge you 8hr/day, you're down 1-2 hours a day in fees. the $625 is used
up.
your choice of how to go from here. Four permits. Three. or two. and if NOT four, then since
we don't issue refunds, I'd have to return checks to you and you get to resubmit the correct
amounts. all this takes time. and I shouldn't be allowing work (air knifing) on well heads
without ISSUED permits. (incorrect checks/amounts can't be used, so permits can't be issued,
and work can't be done).
my recommendation is to cut the applics to two and credit your account with the $625. best
chance you won't get a bill from us after the phase is done.
let me know..
mike
9/19/2011
