Mr. Philip Isorena Proposal P93-040.31
July 12, 1993
Page 2
Task 2. Resample the seven B-zone groundwater monitoring wells (one
upgradient and six downgradient) to confirm the earlier analytical
results from previous investigations.
Task 3. Evaluate the origin of data gaps identified in the IPAR.
Task 4. Perform a limited phase I assessment of properties and facilities
surrounding the terminals.
Task 5. Conduct a cone penetrometer testing (CPT)to evaluate site stratigraphy
in areas not previously evaluated and below the B-zone in and
downgradient of the terminals.
Task 6. Evaluate the vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impact using
field survey techniques utilizing the HydroPuncho II sampling system.
Task 7. Install groundwater monitoring wells to monitor deeper water-bearing
zones.
Task 8. Analyze groundwater samples collected during field screening and
from groundwater monitoring wells.
Task 9. Conduct a biodegradation assessment program by evaluating current
environmental conditions and potential bio-enhancement techniques.
Task 10. Perform aquifer tests (slug tests) and bail down tests to determine
preliminary aquifer parameters and the product thickness, respectively.
Task 11. Conduct an interim product recovery program utilizing passive product
recovery devices.
Task 12. Prepare a report documenting the results of the phase H assessment.
Task 13. Project management, coordinate with the RWQCB, and prepare
monthly progress reports.
SAC/PRO,P931P9304031.bc-93 Imc:S
