The work plan suggests contin- <br /> ued monthly monitoring of product thickness and water levels, <br /> atatrencheseTSe8, TS19, TS-10Maand a98montoring wells Meltand <br /> M-2 for one year. The work plan proposes <br /> well/piezometer development and ground water sampling. <br /> 06-24-88 "Letter Report, Observation Well Installation and Ground Water <br /> Sampling, Union Pacific Railroad, Stockton Facility, Stockton, <br /> CA, " 24 June 1988 (received 23 February 1989), prepared by <br /> Dames and Moore, assesses potential for ground water and soil <br /> contamination associated with Union Pacific's operations, <br /> includes field investigation results. <br /> 08-22-88 Kleinfelder letter transmits results of monitoring well purge <br /> water taken at Unocal and requests advise on disposal . <br /> 09-01-88 Unocal problem assessment report describes using nine soil <br /> borings and seven wells, and proposes to identify and eliminate <br /> contamination source prior to ground water extraction for plume <br /> control . <br />
