1
One line, labeled 8" Port JP-4 to Time abandoned,
' is shown as terminating in front of Time Oil's
header. The other two, labeled 8" Port Gasoline and
' 8" Port Diesel, are shown extending past Time Oil.
These were recently blocked in front of Time Oil's
' header. Time Oil has not used these lines since
around 1975. In the course of this investigation
the three aboveground portions of these lines were
' removed from Time Oil's header out to Navy Drive.
Upon inspection of the underground portions of these
' lines, one was found to contain water, one had what
appeared to be a nitrogen-based fertilizer and the
' other was empty.
' H. Conclusions
In spite of exhaustive testing and exploration, the
' source has not yet been discovered. Results of
monitoring product and water elevations indicate
' that the source could be located between wells SP1,
SP2 and P26 since SP2 is the highest point on the
' water table where gasoline has been observed and SP1
and P26, which are farther upgradient, are clean.
' However, all potential sources known to be in this
area have been eliminated.
1
' - 22 -
