Revision No. 1 to the Field Sampling Plan and Revision No. 2 to the Quality Assurance <br /> Project Plan, Lincoln Center, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Interested Parties: <br /> On behalf of the Settling Dry Cleaning Defendants, Levine-Fricke•Recon Inc. submits Revision <br /> No. 1 to the Field Sampling Plan(FSP), Appendix B of the "Work Plan for Environmental <br /> Investigation, Lincoln Center, Stockton, California," dated September 23, 1996 ("the RI/FS Work <br /> Plan") and Revision No. 2 to the Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP), Appendix C of the <br /> RI/FS Work Plan. All of these revisions are related to the soil-vapor investigation planned for the <br /> Lincoln Center site. <br /> The following revisions have been made to the FSP: <br /> • Purging specifications for soil-vapor sampling have been added to the sampling procedures <br /> (Section 2.2). <br /> • Soil-vapor sample holding time and holding time violation procedures have been added <br /> (Section 2.2). <br /> • Leak detection tests specification and leak minimization techniques have been added to the text <br /> (Section 2.2). <br /> • Sample syringe cleaning and storage procedures have been added to the text (Section 2.2). <br /> • A header has been added to each page of the main body of the FSP to reflect the date the FSP <br /> was first issued as a final document and the dates and numbers of subsequent revisions. <br /> The following revisions have been made to the QAPP: <br /> • Transglobal Environmental Geochemistry of Ranch Cordova, California (TEG) has been <br /> identified as the mobile laboratory subcontractor for the soil-vapor investigation. <br /> • TEG's Standard Soil Vapor Analysis Standard Operating Procedures have been added as <br /> Attachment C-3. <br /> • The reference to Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board document entitled <br /> "Interim Guidance for Active Soil Gas Investigation," dated March 14, 1996, has been added <br /> to the information sources section (Section 1.2). <br /> 1900 Powell Street, 12th Floor, Emeryville, California 94608-1827 • (510) 652-4500 • fax (510) 652-2246 • Offices Worldwide <br />
