This Section describes the requirements for furnishing a work plan describing Contractor's <br /> approach and methods for prosecuting the work. <br /> 1.02 GENERAL <br /> A. It is expressly agreed that time is of the essence on this contract and that the Contractor <br /> agrees to perform the work within the time and in he manner specified, or within the time of <br /> such extensions as may be granted. <br /> 1.03 CONTRACTOR'S WORK PLAN <br /> A. The Contractor shall submit a work plan describing in detail his approach and methods for <br /> prosecuting work the in accordance with the construction documents. <br /> B. The work plan shall outline the means, methods, equipment, and personnel the Contractor <br /> intends to use to accomplish the work. The work plan shall indicate the timing and duration of <br /> construction operations. <br /> C. The Contractor's work plan shall include assistance that may be required from the College in <br /> operating its facilities such as, shutting down irrigation systems, operating valves, shutting <br /> water off, etc. The work plan shall include date and times shut down of services may be <br /> needed . <br /> D. The work plan shall indicate the area that the Contractor intends to use to perform the work <br /> and steps that will be taken to prevent damage to adjacent areas. <br /> E. If at any time after the approval of the work plan, the Contractor wishes to make any changes <br /> in the work plan, he shall submit a request to the Engineer for such changes; otherwise, he <br /> shall follow the work plan originally submitted and approved. <br /> 1.04 NOTIFICATION <br /> A. The Contractor shall notify the College a minimum of 24 hours in advance of commencing <br /> construction. <br /> B.
