Community Development/Permit Center
March 6, 2008
Page 2
• Provide a written public notification of activities to specific residences located on Robinhood Drive,
Banbury Drive, and Tamworth Way,
• Set up two noise monitoring stations, on the north and south side of Robinhood Drive adjacent to
the residence on each side, to document decibel levels during night time activities. ENSR will also
establish background noise levels at each noise monitoring station; and,
• Refrain from using a jack-hammer or saw-cutting equipment during the hours of 10:00 PM and
7:00 AM.
Throughout the duration of the activities related to the Site's remediation systems upgrade, the primary
concern of the job will be the health and safety of those involved. A written Health and Safety Plan
specifies measures to safeguard the workers as well as the community (the visitors to the mall, customers
of the restaurant, the adjacent residents, and the general public). When the upgrade is complete, the
sidewalk, landscaped areas, and parking lot will be restored to the existing conditions, and the AS/SVE
systems will be allow to operate. ENSR anticipates completion of the upgrade by July 31, 2008, which is
the deadline mandated by the CVWB for the AS/SVE remediation systems to be in operation and in
compliance with the CAO.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Jennifer Johnston at(916) 362-7100.
Sincerely,
ENSR Corporation
W
J nnifer J nston Kent D.
