Kennedy/Jenks Consultants <br /> Chapter 6: Reports of Findings and Timeline <br /> 6.1 Reports of Findings <br /> This section summarizes the reports that are due to the CRWQCB subsequent to the <br /> Groundwater Protection Work Plan, in accordance with Items 3 through 7 of the CAO. <br /> 6.1.1 Monitoring Well Installation Report <br /> A Monitoring Well Installation Report that summarizes the groundwater monitoring well <br /> installation and sampling activities is due to the CRWQCB on 1 October 2004. The report will <br /> provide information required by Attachment A, Section 2 ("Monitoring Well Installation Report") <br /> of CAO Order No. R5-2004-0704, such as: purpose of well installation project; brief description <br /> of geologic/hydrogeologic conditions encountered during installation of the wells; topographic <br /> site map showing facilities, well locations, and other major physical and man-made features; <br /> drilling details, including soil boring logs and a narrative of field activities; well construction <br /> details; well development information; and a well survey. The report will conclude with an <br /> evaluation of the data collected and, if needed, recommend additional field activities. <br /> A quarterly monitoring report will be issued following each quarterly sampling event. The <br /> quarterly report will include updated groundwater data tables and figures, laboratory analytical <br /> reports, a narrative of the field activities, an evaluation of the data, and, if needed, <br /> recommended additional field activities. <br /> 6.1.2 Groundwater Characterization Report <br /> A Groundwater Characterization Report is due to the CRWQCB on 1 November 2005, as <br /> specified in Item 4 of the CAO. The purpose of this report is to characterize the hydrogeologic <br /> conditions and groundwater quality based on available data from wells and CPT and <br /> HydropunchTM, described in the GWC Work Plan. <br /> 6.1.3 Process Water Characterization and Process Water Treatment <br /> Evaluation Report <br /> A Process Water Characterization and Treatment Evaluation Report is due to the CRWQCB on <br /> 1 December 2005, as specified in Item 5 of the CAO. The purpose of this report is to present the <br /> results of both the process water characterization and treatment system evaluation. <br /> The process water characterization portion of this report will describe site-specific process water <br /> characteristics and assess seasonal variations of the processes that contribute to the combined <br /> process water stream, including the winery process, the distillation process, the vacuum filter <br /> process, the wine ion exchange process, the water softening process, and associated cooling <br /> water discharges. <br /> _ <br /> Groundwater Protection Work Plan, The Wine Group Page 6-1 <br /> Franzia Winery, Ripon, California <br /> �'_,v_Y-0InIDlextb. <br />
