The NCP is published in 40 Code of Federal Regulations <br /> Part 300. <br /> Operation and Maintenance (O&M)--Activities conducted at a site after a <br /> response action occurs to ensure that the cleanup and/or systems are functioning <br /> properly. <br /> Record of Decision (ROD)--A public document describing which SHARPE cleanup <br /> altemative(s) will be implemented at a Superfund hazardous waste site. The <br /> ROD is based on information and technical analyses generated during the RI/FS <br /> study, and incorporates public comments and community concerns. <br /> Remedial investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS)--A 2-part study of a hazardous <br /> waste site that supports the selection of a remedial action for the site. The RI <br /> identifies the type and extent of contamination. The FS identifies and evaluates <br /> alternatives for addressing site contamination, based on the results of the Rl. <br /> 22 <br />
