Incoming tank trucks must <br /> stop at the laboratory for sampling and testing of the <br /> shipment. <br /> After unloading, the empty biomass trucks proceed to the <br /> exit area truck scale, where they will be weighed and <br /> logged out. Empty trucks entering the facility to pick <br /> up briquettes will be weighed at the receiving area, <br /> proceed to the briquette loading area to pick up <br /> briquettes and shipping papers. Incoming trucks have <br /> priority at the weigh scale to ensure no queing on <br /> county roads takes place. An outgoing truck queing lane <br /> (151 x 2201) is provided. <br /> The pumpable liquid unloading area consists of a docking <br /> area, pump station and a storage tank area. The <br /> unloading area for used lubricants will be provided with <br /> secondary containment to contain spills and be cleared <br /> from any sources of ignition. <br /> Based on 809 plant availability, and normal delivery <br /> time periods of 12 hours per day and 5 days per week, <br /> the expected number trucks entering and exiting the <br /> facility is as follows (daylight hours only): <br /> BIOMASS 4 to 5 trucks/hour <br /> BRIQUETTES 3 to 4 trucks/hour <br /> LUBRICANT/DISTILLATE: 1 truck every 3 hours <br /> TOTAL 7 to 9 trucks/hour <br /> The number of each type of truck needed to meet the <br /> delivery schedules discussed above are as follows: <br /> BIOMASS: 10 trucks <br /> BRIQUETTES: 12 trucks <br /> USED LUBRICANT: 2 trucks <br /> 2.3.2 Laboratory Facility <br /> The facility will have an analytical laboratory on site <br /> with the primary purpose to perform analysis of <br /> agricultural biomass, production briquettes, incoming <br /> used oils, recycled oils, and intermediate production <br /> materials. The laboratory will have the capability of <br /> providing sufficient details of chemical and physical <br /> properties to assure that no off-specification materials <br /> are accepted. <br /> The laboratory will be staffed with certified <br /> technicians and chemists to perform analyses using <br /> standard test methods including those of the EPA, ASTM, <br /> NIOSH and other approved test methods.
