The <br /> laboratory is expected to be equipped with the following <br /> equipment to analyze certain properties: <br /> - Emission spectrograph <br /> - Atomic spectrograph <br /> - Gas chromatograph/mass spectrometry and infrared <br /> apparatus <br /> - Orsat, furite technique-PH meter and automatic <br /> titrator <br /> - Optical Microscope <br /> - Muffle furnace, oven, balances <br /> - Calorimeter <br /> - Open cup flash point tester <br /> - Specific gravity balance <br /> - Viscosimeter <br /> - Imhoff cones and centrifuge with graduated tubes <br /> - Sieving machine and HIAC particle counter <br /> If the equipment for a specific analytical method is not <br /> available in-house, the sample will be sent to a <br /> commercial analytical laboratory. <br /> 2.3.3 Structures, Roads and Facilities <br /> Permenant buildings on site will generally be <br /> prefabricated metal structures (enclosed or rainshed) on <br /> concrete pads and will include: <br /> - Guardhouse and Scalehouses <br /> - Electrical Building which includes distribution <br /> panels and control room <br /> - Repair shop, offices, and laboratory <br /> - Pump and well houses <br /> - Briquette storehouse <br /> - Boilerhouse <br /> All roads will be constructed of crushed gravel or <br /> limestone except the automobile parking area which will <br /> be asphalt paved. The biomass pile area will also be <br /> overlayed with crushed gravel . <br /> The resource recovery system equipment will be set on a <br /> concrete pad surrounded by a spill containment berm <br /> wall. All spills of any type, including rainwater, will <br /> be collected in concrete trenchwork and transferred by <br /> sump pump to the appropriate waste storage tank for <br /> proper handling. <br /> 13 <br />
