Evacuation Plan and/or Earthquake <br />In the event that a total evacuation of the facility is called for by the Emergency Coordinator, <br />the actions to be taken are listed in Appendix ER <br />The Emergency Coordinator will be responsible for determining which <br />emergency situations require evacuation of J & R Environmental, Inc. <br />The facility would employ verbal communication. <br />7. Amendments to Contingency Plan <br />To ensure that it is kept up-to-date, the Contingency Plan is reviewed annually or whenever any <br />of the following occur: <br />The plan fails in an emergency. <br />The list of Emergency Coordinators changes. <br />The list of emergency equipment changes. <br />Applicable regulations are revised. <br />The Emergency Coordinator is responsible for all revisions to all copies of the Contingency Plan, <br />on a periodic and on an "as needed" basis. When revisions are necessary, the Emergency Coordinator <br />will send the revisions to all those who have copies, requesting that changes be made and that the <br />Emergency Coordinator be notified when that has been accomplished. <br />8. Copies of the Contingency Plan <br />Copies of the Contingency Plan are kept on-site. Each Emergency Coordinator has a copy. <br />B. Responsibilities of the Emergency Coordinator <br />The Emergency Coordinator is responsible for implementing the Contingency Plan, The Emergency <br />Coordinator or designated alternates will be available to facility personnel at all times, either on-site or on <br />call. The Emergency Coordinator, who is responsible for coordinating all emergency response measures, <br />is familiar with: <br />* All aspects of the facility's Contingency Plan. <br />* All operations and activities at the facility. <br />* The location and types of waste handled. <br />Revised 3/1/2013 5 <br />
