Completion of cleanup <br />The Emergency Coordinator will ensure that no waste that may be incompatible with the released <br />material is treated, stored or disposed of until clean-up procedures are completed. In the event of spills, <br />fires, or accidents, all waste deliveries and process and storage operations will be suspended in the <br />affected area. Emergency equipment clean-up <br />After an emergency event, all emergency equipment will be cleaned so that it is fit for reuse, or it will <br />be replaced. Contaminated equipment will be rinsed where necessary. <br />The procedures for responding to any spill or leak are in the Employee Contingency Plan <br />handbook in Appendix ER Operations would not resume until all necessary engineering controls were <br />inspected and fully operational. <br />C. Responsibilities of the Facility Operator <br />17. Notification about completeness of cleanup <br />The Emergency Coordinator will notify the appropriate State and local authorities that the facility <br />is in compliance with the California Code of Regulations before operations are resumed in the affected <br />areas of the facility.
