No label or accumulation start date on 55 -gallon drum of drained oil filters, and no disposal records <br />retained for the last three ears. Used oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled <br />as "drained used oil filters,' marked with an accumulation start date, managed within one year of <br />storage, and a copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately label <br />all drained used oil filter c stainers per this section, dispose of the above drained oil filters since the <br />length of storage could not be determined. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil <br />filters including the above disposal for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to <br />EHD by September 2, 2011. <br />27. (Repeat) One 55 -gallon drum of waste oil is not closed. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br />closed at all times except When adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and <br />ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. Corrected on <br />F," <br />30. Observed seven emp 55 -gallon drums in the storage room and one empty 15 -gallon drum in the <br />parts cleaner room with n start date of accumulation. Containers larger than five gallons that previously <br />held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one <br />year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section and submit <br />how you correct this violation by September 2, 2011. <br />50. One 55 -gallon drum of of absorbent waste by the flying shear machine had an accumulation date of <br />1/2/2011, and one red ap roximately 15 -gallon drum of parts cleaner distillation liquid waste in the parts <br />cleaner room has an accu ulation start date of 4/15/2009. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of <br />hazardous waste per mon:h and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store <br />waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this <br />waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by September 2, 2011. <br />79,83,84. Unable to determine the length of storage of four Universal Waste fluorescent lamps in the <br />storage room not stored in a container. Universal Wastes, including aerosol cans, lamps, alkaline <br />batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, electronic devices, etc., shall be stored in a closed <br />container that prevents breakage and release to the environment, labeled to identify the type of <br />Universal Waste and the initial date of accumulation, managed within one year of storage, and retained <br />a copy of the disposal receipt for at least 3 years on site.
