Within 30 days provide <br /> this office with a copy of the hazardous waste manifest. <br /> 20) Failed to completely label containers of hazardous waste: <br /> At time of inspection: <br /> the following containers were seen improperly labeled: <br /> 1-55 gallon drum of absorbent pads in the truck shop was missing the physical state and the hazardous property <br /> 3-55 gallon drums of hazardous waste(used oil, battery acid, spent absorbent)were seen in the produce maintenance shop <br /> missing the hazardous property. Corrected on site <br /> 2-55 gallon drums of waste fuel in the hazardous waste storage area were missing the physical state. Corrected on site. <br /> All containers of hazardous waste must be labeled at all times with the following information: <br /> 1-Words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2-Generator name&address <br /> 3-Contents <br /> 4-Hazardous Property <br /> 5-Physical State <br /> 6-Start Accumulation date <br /> Immediately properly label all containers of hazardous waste <br /> 23) Used Oil Filter storage: <br /> At time of inspection: <br /> 3-55 gallon drums of drained used oil and fuel filters were seen outside of the truck shop with no start accumulation date. <br /> Used oil filters must be stored in a closed container, labeled"Drained Used Oil Filters"or"Drained used oil and gasoline <br /> filters" (whichever is applicable)with a start accumulation date. It can not be determined how long the filters has been on <br /> site. Immediately recycle these filters. Within 30 days provide this office with a copy of the bill of lading. Begin this practice <br /> for future storage of used oil filters and/or gasoline filters. <br /> 30) Empty HW or Haz Mat container: <br /> At time of inspection: <br /> 4 empty 55 gallon drums were seen in the hazardous waste storage area. Any container larger than 5 gallons which once <br /> held a hazardous waste or hazardous material must be labeled "empty"with the date the container was emptied. The empty <br /> container must be managed within 1 year.
