DETECTION METHOD <br /> Tanks - Statistical Inventory Reconciliation (SIR) and Biennial Tank Integrity Testing in <br /> accordance with SWRCB LG-123-1 and Section 2643 (c)(1), Article 4, <br /> Title 23, CCR. <br /> Lines - Automatic Pressure Line Leak Detectors and Annual Line Tightness Testing in <br /> accordance with Section 2643 (d)(1) and (3), Article 4, Title 23, CCR. <br /> 2 . MONITORING EQUIPMENT <br /> The Automatic line leak detectors shall be maintained and inspected according to the <br /> manufacturer's instructions by an outside contractor once during each calendar year. <br /> 3 . MONITORING PROCEDURE - Statistical Inventory Reconciliation <br /> Inventory reconciliation shall be performed in compliance with the details of SWRCB <br /> LG-123-1 . <br /> A Inventory volume measurements for product inputs, withdrawals, and the amount <br /> remaining in the tank shall be recorded daily. <br /> B. The equipment used to take inventory readings shall be in good working order and <br /> capable of measuring the product level over the full range of the tank's height to the <br /> nearest one-eighth of an inch. <br /> O Product inputs shall be reconciled with delivery receipts by measurement of the tank <br /> inventory volume before and after delivery. <br /> D. Deliveries shall be made through a drop tube that extends to within six inches of the <br /> tank bottom. <br /> E Meters used for determining inputs and withdrawals shall comply with CCR, Title 4, <br /> Chapter 9, Subchapter 1, "Tolerances and specifications for commercial weighing and <br /> measuring devices." Meters shall be inspected by the County Department of Weights <br /> and Measures or a device repairman as defined in the California Business and <br /> Professions Code, Division 5, Chapter 5.5. <br />
