Two <br /> (2) of the borings will be drilling near tanks #1 and #21!(tank pit #1); the other two (2) <br /> borings will be drilled near tanks #3 and #4 (tank pit #2). It is expected that groundwater <br /> will be encountered while drilling the soil borings. Thereforell one water sample will be <br /> collected, via hydropunch (or similar methods), from each tank pit area. If contamination <br /> is observed in the water samples, one or more of the sail borings may be completed as <br /> groundwater monitoring wells.
