Copies of the report have been
submitted to Jim Barton of the Regional Board and to the responsible party.
I
Ground Zero Analysis, Inc (Ground Zero) believes that groundwater samples collected from
wells MW913 and MW14B have adequately demonstrated that the B Zone aquifer beneath site k
has not been impacted by the dissolved contaminant plume. Therefore, these wells should be
properly destroyed so as not to pose a potential conduit for vertical contaminant migration.
Ground Zero is also requesting that the Regional Board revise the WDRs for the site to waive
PAHs, chloride, nitrate, and sulfate from the sampling and reporting requirements based upon
analytical results collected from the influent and effluent wastewater stream.
Please call me at(209) 838-9888 if you have any questions or require further information.
Sincerely,
Gr and Zero Analysis, Inc.
i
John P.
