Section 3. Storage Tank Details
3.1 Table 3-1 Oil Storage Containers and Capacities
This table includes a complete list of all oil storage containers (aboveground containers) with
capacity of 55 U.S. gallons or more, unless otherwise exempt from the rule. For
mobile/portable containers, an estimate number of containers, types of oil, and anticipated
capacities are provided. Table 3-1 presents expected volume, discharge rate, general direction
of flow in the event of equipment failure, and means of secondary containment for different
parts of the facility where oil is stored, used, or handled.
Table 3-1 Oil Storage Containers & Capacities
Berm ID Storage capacity Content Description
Fixed Storage
YES 1 12,000 gallons Diesel Fuel Aboveground Horizontal tank
NO 2 250 gallons Gasoline Aboveground Horizontal tank
NO 3 250 gallons Waste/used oil* Aboveground Horizontal tank
NO 4 250 gallons Kerosene Aboveground Horizontal tank
YES 5 300 gallons 15w40/new oil Aboveground Horizontal tank
NO 6 120 gallons ATF Aboveground Horizontal tank
NO 7 300 gallons DEF Aboveground Horizontal tank
Underground storage
none n/a 0 gallons
*UST storage is exempt from SPCC plan guidelines but is included as a reference
Total Aboveground Petroleum Storage Capacity 13,470 gallons
Total Completely Buried Storage Capacity 0 gallons
Facility Total Oil Storage Capacity 13,470 gallons
a Aboveground storage containers that must be included when calculating total facility oil storage capacity
include:tanks and mobile or portable containers;oil-filled operational equipment(e.g.transformers); other oil-filled
equipment, such as flow-through process equipment.
