Stockton Plating, Inc.
has made pplication to Cal-EPA Department of Toxic Substance
Control fr permit by rule for this treatment system.
After th plant inspection, we returned to Mr. Huntley's
office toireview hazardous waste records which included; the
contingency plan, biennial report, employee training records,
hazardous waste manifests, and the land disposal restriction
notification forms.
During the review of the employee training records I noted
that the records lacked a job description of each hazardous
waste postion, and the job title and name of person filling
the position.
IX. DISCUSSION WITH MANAGEMENT:
We began ur discussion by reviewing the noted violations and
possible solutions for compliance. Mr. Huntly agreed to
correct 11 noted violations promptly. We then discussed
several azardous waste reduction alternatives. Stockton
Plating, nc. has several ideas and projects pending. However,
implementation of many of these projects is delayed due to the
high init al expenditures.
C. Alan Ito, CAL-EPA, Department of Toxic Substances Control
6
