Evacuate harmful residues of hazardous ma- <br />terials from rail cars or containers by <br />flaring, neutralization, or other means to <br />make tkem safe for handling at the accident <br />scene and for return to the owner. <br />C. Decontaminate, clean and recondition transfer <br />equipment for its vrompt return to service. <br />The Special Agents will: <br />a. Exclude all persons not directly involved in <br />the mitigation of the incident from the <br />accident scene. <br />b. Prevent trespassers from entering onto compa- <br />ny proverty. <br />Safety and Casualty Management Deleartment will do <br />following: <br />Tie Safety Department will ie responsible for tke <br />personal safety of Company employes and contrac- <br />tors of the Company. <br />Tie Casualty Manavement Department will: <br />a. Establish an emergency claim mrocessing <br />center, if one is necessary, at a facility <br />near the yard. <br />b. Conduct an investigation of the Comrany's <br />liability position, under the direction of <br />the Law Department, ant claims that may arise <br />from an evacuation, spill, eamlosion, or <br />toxic exposure. <br />C. Be responsible for handling claims that may <br />arise from personal injury, property damage, <br />business interruption, or evacuation. <br />d. Assist in the medical management of claims <br />for any injured employe. <br />D. Tke Law Department i - *pswons+ble for: <br />1.
