(3) All recommendations of the soils engineer that were included in the soils report shall be incorporated in the construction drawings. (4) The proposed project is located within an expansive soil area where a conventional foundation may not be suitable. Therefore, an engineer is required to evaluate the foundation design. b. A grading plan shall be submitted by the applicant, and it shall be approved and a grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to any excavation or filling of earth material: (1) The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the UBC, Appendix, Chapter 70, Section 7006(1). (2) The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the adjacent parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. (3) Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading Requirements." (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading plan. (5) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. (6) All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. (7) All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to the issuance of any building permits or the beginning of any construction. C. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: (1) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The spaces shall be located as close as possible to the primary entrance. (CCR, Title 24) (2) Provide identification signs for the parking spaces, including the"tow away"sign, at each entrance or visible from each space. (CCR, Title 24) (3) The slope-of a parking space shall not exceed '/4 inch per foot. (CCR, Title 24) NOTE: On May 17, 1993,the San Joaquin County Community Development Department approved SA-93- 14 subject to the Conditions of Approval listed above.
