(3) All recommendations of the soils engineer that were included in the soils report <br /> shall be incorporated in the construction drawings. <br /> (4) The proposed project is located within an expansive soil area where a <br /> conventional foundation may not be suitable. Therefore, an engineer is required <br /> to evaluate the foundation design. <br /> b. A grading plan shall be submitted by the applicant, and it shall be approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to any excavation or filling <br /> of earth material: <br /> (1) The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the UBC, Appendix, <br /> Chapter 70, Section 7006(1). <br /> (2) The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the <br /> adjacent parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> (3) Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for <br /> "Engineered Grading Requirements." <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading <br /> plan. <br /> (5) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. <br /> (6) All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. <br /> (7) All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to the issuance of <br /> any building permits or the beginning of any construction. <br /> C. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (1) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The spaces shall be located as close <br /> as possible to the primary entrance. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> (2) Provide identification signs for the parking spaces, including the"tow away"sign, <br /> at each entrance or visible from each space. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> (3) The slope-of a parking space shall not exceed '/4 inch per foot.
