The consultant must have at least 5 years experience con- ducting underground storage tank corrective action work in California . A statement of qualifications attesting to such experience must accompany any bid submitted . 2 . It is preferred , but not required , that the consultant have an office within 40 miles of the corrective action site . 3 , The consultant must employ qualified persons to perforin the work described above , including licensed geologists and other technical professionals and possess all necessary licenses to operate within the State of California and the jurisdiction of San Joaquin County . A list of qualified persons who will perform the work must accompany any bid submitted . 4 . The consultant must carry out the described work in a time - ly , professional , safe , and legal manner and maintain neces - sary records and other safeguards to ensure that reported sample results are accurate . All work must be performed in a manner acceptable to the PHS/ EHD . 5 . The consultant must provide at least 3 roferences ( s ) of previous clients for whom the consultant has performed similar work within the past 2 years . 6 . The consultant must maintain general liability insurance in the amount of $ 1 , 000 , 000 and professional errors and omis - sions liability insurance in the amount of $ 1 , 000fo00 for the life of the project . Estate of Giambanco shall not be responsible for the cost of any associated premiums . Con- sultant shall be responsible for the cost of any associated premiums . Consultant shall be responsible for any third party claims related to the execution of work described herein , with the exception of claims filed by Estate of Giambanco employees . Proof of such insurance shall be furnished to Estate of Giambanco prior to the start of work . 7 . Work shall be performed fin a manner which will not require the cessation of potential development of the site unless absolutely necessary or dictated by the PAS /ED . 8 . Consultant shall agree to enter a contract substantially similar to the sample attached as Exhibit "A " d and shall provide a Schedule of Charges with any bid submitted .
