15 February 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0229 <br /> Page 6 of 12 <br /> 32 WELL INSTALLATION <br /> Based on soil and ground water data collected during the investigation of petroleum-hydrocarbon <br /> impact, AGE proposes installation of wells in the following areas <br /> • One 6 inch-diameter ground water extraction well (EW-1) located between 15 and 25 feet <br /> east-northeast of monitoring well MW-1 and screened between 20 and 45 feet bsg, <br /> • One 4-inch diameter SVE well (VW-1) located between 30 and 40 feet east-northeast of <br /> MW-1 and screened between 10 and 30 feet bsg, <br /> • One 4-inch diameter SVE well (VW-2) located between 5 and 15 feet northeast of MW-1 <br /> and screened between 10 and 30 feet bsg, <br /> • One 4-inch diameter SVE well (VW-3) located between 60 and 70 feet southeast of MW-1 <br /> and screened between 10 and 30 feet bsg, <br /> • One 2-inch diameter IAS well (AW-1) located between 10 and 20 feet east-northeast of <br /> monitoring well MW-1 and screened between 35 and 40 feet bsg, <br /> • One 2-inch diameter ground water monitoring well (MW-11) located on Rose Marie Lane <br /> between 100 and 150 feet west of MW-8 and screened between 25 and 45 feet bsg, and <br /> • One 2-inch diameter ground water monitoring well (MW-12) located on Summit Road <br /> between 150 and 200 feet northeast of MW-10 and screened between 25 and 45 feet bsg, <br /> Proposed well locations are depicted in Figure 2, general lithology and the estimated extent of <br /> petroleum-impact to soil beneath the site is depicted in cross sectional views B-B'in Figures 3 The <br /> proposed ground water extraction, SVE and IAS will be screened through Fitst Zone ground water <br /> and in areas of known petroleum-impacted soil and ground water The proposed ground water <br /> monitoring wells will be screened through First Zone ground water and in to delineate the northwest <br /> and northeast extent of petroleum-impact Procedures for well installation are presented in Section <br /> 42 <br /> Following well installation, each water well will be developed to maximize water flow into the well <br /> .9nd i71111 M17P thi- amollnt of fi11P-crn1nPd VP,r11MPnt dra.ern Into the V17Pn rliiri""r�iimri�riry r.r iknili <br /> y lily 411 t}µ;ills it 1A111i.l111 V l V"111116 <br /> Procedures for well installation and development are presented in Sections 4 2 and 443, respectively <br /> 3 3 GROUND WATER AQUIFER PUMPING TEST <br /> Following installation ofEW-1, a 24-hour aquifer pumping test will be performed in the First Water <br /> Zone at the site to evaluate a general radius of influence and capture zone during ground water <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
