A'WP
177014E W77J7—ML70ddA R-
fibm. &-pw
1,000 gallons in capacity. Additionally, the containers are located indoors
and elevated to reduce corrosion potential and to allow all sides of the
containers, including the bottoms, to be inspected. According to industry
standard STI-SP001,these tanks are considered Category 1 tanks. Per Table
5.5 of the standard, these tanks are only subject to periodic visual inspections
by the owner/operator. These tanks were mechanically tested on October 2,
2015. The report is provided in Appendix 1.
7. Diesel Fuel Tanks (001,002) -The integrity testing schedule for these tanks is
also outlined in STI-SP001. These tanks are considered Category 1 tanks.
Due to their size (10,000 gallons) these tanks shall be subject to periodic
visual inspections by the owner/operator,as well as formal external
inspections by an STI certified inspector every 20 years. These tanks were
mechanically tested on October 2,2015. The report is provided in Appendix
I. The next STI-SP001 testing will be necessary in October,2035.
8. All containers are inspected weekly for signs of deterioration, discharges,or
accumulation of oil inside diked areas and double-walled tank secondary
containment shells. Weekly inspections are documented. Additionally,
annual inspections are conducted and the STI-SP001 Annual Inspection
Checklist is completed each year.
9. The Facility storage containers do not possess internal heating coils.
10. Direct-vision gauges are used on all bulk tanks, and a person is present to
monitor the gauges and overall filling of all bulk oil storage containers. An
automatic liquid-level/leak-detection sensing system is also installed to
centrally monitor the levels in all tanks. Liquid-level sensing devices are
periodically inspected and tested to ensure proper operations.
11. The Facility has an Oil/Water Separator (see Section 112.7(a)(3)(ii) Discharge
Prevention Measures for details on active containment measures for the
unloading/transfer operations for the OWS).
12. Visible discharges are promptly corrected, and any accumulation of
discharged oil is promptly removed.
13. Mobile and portable oil storage containers (drums) are stored within
secondary containment.
22
