' SECTION 11500 <br /> ENGINE GENERATOR <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A. These specifications describe the minimum requirements for a skid mounted, 150 KW standby <br /> duty, three phase engine driven electric generator powered from diesel fuel. <br /> ' B. The engine generator shall include a diesel engine, control& instrument panel, batteries, battery <br /> charger, brushless alternator, excitor, voltage regulator, generator main breaker, fuel pump, <br /> radiator, blower fan, exhaust silencer, vibration isolators, and special options as stated herein. <br /> C. The engine generator shall be provided as described in the following specification and as shown <br /> on the Contract drawings, herein designated as the design documents. <br /> D. All auxiliary apparatus and accessories shall be provided, at no additional cost to the District, <br /> as required for a fully functional engine generator. <br /> E. The engine generator shall be delivered as a skid mounted unit, piped and wired for operation. <br /> F. Install a steel reinforced concrete pad, adequately sized to support the engine generator to be <br /> supplied. <br /> G. Provide the field installation, startup, testing and training for the engine generator and <br /> associated equipment as part of this scope of work. <br /> ' ENGINE GENERATOR <br /> 11500 - 1 <br />
