H. Ground buses shall be provided in all electrical enclosures. Each ground bus shall be sized as <br /> shown on the Contract drawings or specified herein. The ground bus shall be adequately <br /> ' sized for the connection of all grounding conductors required per NEC. Screw type lugs <br /> shall be provided on all ground busses for connection of grounding conductors. <br /> I. One side of the secondary on all transformers shall be grounded to the ground bus. <br /> J. All raceway systems, supports, enclosures, panels, motor frames, and equipment housings <br /> shall be permanently and effectively grounded. <br /> K. All receptacles shall have their grounding contact connected to a grounding conductor. <br /> L. Attachment of the grounding conductor to equipment or enclosures shall be by connectors <br /> specifically provided for grounding. Mounting, support, or bracing bolts shall not be used as <br /> an attachment point for ground conductors. <br /> ' M. Conduit grounding bushings shall be electra-galvanized malleable iron with insulation collar. <br /> They shall be set screw locking type and shall be provided with a feed through compression <br /> lug for securing the ground bonding wire. <br /> 2.7 CONDUIT,RACEWAYS,AND WIREWAYS <br /> A. GENERAL-Conduit, raceways, and wireways, wiring methods, materials, installation shall <br /> meet all requirements of the NEC, be UL labeled for the application, and meet the minimum <br /> following specifications. <br /> ' 1. All wiring shall be installed in conduits, raceways, or wireways when interconnecting <br /> equipment and devices. <br /> 2. The Contractor shall use special conduit, raceways,wireways, construction methods, and <br /> materials as shown on the Contract drawings; which shall take precedence over any <br /> 1 general methods and materials specified in this Section. <br /> 3. The minimum size conduit shall be 3/4-inch unless indicated otherwise on the Drawings <br /> or for special connections to equipment. <br /> 4. Conduit stubs for future use shall be capped with coupling, nipple, and plug. <br /> 5. Conduits to be abandoned that protrude above graded shall be cut flush and filled with <br /> grout. <br /> ELECTRICAL <br /> 16000 - 21 <br />
