constructed under this contract but is found during <br /> construction to be in conflict with the proposed work. <br /> 2. An existing underground utility is shown on the drawings <br /> in plan but not in profile and is found during <br /> construction to be in conflict with the proposed work. <br /> r 3. An existing underground utility is not shown on the <br /> drawings and is found during construction to be in <br /> conflict with the proposed work. <br /> 4. An existing underground utility is not shown on the <br /> drawings and is found during construction to cross or <br /> project into the allowable excavation for the proposed <br /> work at a horizontal angle of 30 degrees or less from the <br /> pipeline or structure centerline at any elevation. <br /> ' For purposes of this section, an existing underground utility <br /> shall be considered to be in conflict with the proposed work if <br /> it crosses or projects into the allowable excavation for the <br /> proposed work at an elevation between the top and bottom of the <br /> proposed pipeline or structure. The provisions of this section <br /> notwithstanding , should the Contractor damage or destroy any <br /> utility where it can be shown he had advance notice of its <br /> existence , although not shown on the drawings , he shall not <br /> receive any compensation for repair or replacement of the <br /> utility. <br /> Minor underground utility service lines, including but not <br /> limited to sanitary sewer services, septic tanks, leachfields , <br /> gas services , water services , house or yard drains , and <br /> electric or telephone services, shall be maintained, relocated, <br /> rerouted, removed , and restored by the Contractor with the <br /> least possible interference with such services and in no case <br /> shall the interference of such service lines be considered for <br /> extra compensation under any of the special cases listed above. <br /> The Contractor shall provide temporary service for all house <br /> utility services and mail delivery services that are disrupted <br /> and shall replace these facilities equivalent to their original <br /> condition. Water lines which are cut into or broken shall be <br /> disinfected by the Contractor in conformance with local health <br /> procedures before the lines are put back into service. <br /> The Contractor shall make his own arrangements with the <br /> utility owners and shall pay all costs connected therewith for <br /> any relocations not requested by the Agency. <br /> ' The right is reserved by owners of public utilities and <br /> franchises to enter upon any street, road , right-of-way , or <br /> easement for the purpose of maintaining their property and for <br /> making necessary repairs or changes caused by the work . Except <br /> as noted above, all costs thus incurred shall be paid by the <br /> i G-31 <br />
